The food here was great and the prices were definitely fair, but the best part of our dining experience was the service provided by two of the waitstaff - Marshall and Saara. We were mostly served by Marshall, who was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. We were also assisted by Saara, who also gave us fantastic service. We live just below the Bridge (I love that you don't need to say what bridge in Michigan), so won't be coming up here every week or month, but when next we do visit, we will definitely be stopping here a couple of times. In short: great food, great price, and Great service.
This place is wonderful. Lunch was delicious. I had soup and husband had a sandwich and both were amazing. It is a cute little place and has a bakery in it with yummy baked goods. The cookies were delicious. Service is great.
Such a quaint and cozy cafe! Smokin'Hubster and I have each stopped in for cookies (he is the Cookie Monster), delighting in the selection that's available. Also had a nice chat with the bakers as they worked. Like us, many of them are transplants to the area and had a lot of insights to share. They also partner with Jackson's Pit to provide sweets for after dinner, which is a really nice touch.
I love Midtown for desserts and lunches. When my daughter graduated from high school, I stopped in and told Mary Beth my plan for a pink dessert table and she made it happen! When my parents had their 50th, we got a lemon cake with raspberry filling. It was so delicious! My mom normally pushes food on all of us, but not this cake! She took the small piece that was remaining home for herself. It's got a daily special for lunch and the soups, salads and sandwiches are all yummy. Stop in for lunch or grab food and dessert to go! You won't be disappointed.
Excellent sandwiches. Soups, and baked goods. Their cheesecake is next level and you can get a dozen cookies for like $6. Yum!

Great people, great service , outstanding food!-don't forget the homemade treats ! Salads were fresh and serviced with house made dressings. The soups are made from scratch-I had the chicken noodle make this a great place on your schedule !!
Everything was delicious + friendly service. The sandwiches were great & the soups were even better. Highly recommend the stuffed pepper soup!
